Many search engines, web directories and software houses provide FREE email service. These are Web Sites that, in a effort to keep you coming back, and looking at their ads (someone has to pay for the service, even if it isn’t you), will give you an email address and password that you can use to send and receive mail from any computer in the world.
You don’t have to have your own Internet access or even your own computer. All you need is to have one available to you on a daily basis. If you are allowed to use the computer at your office and it is connected to the Internet, you’re set. If your neighbor, friend, spouse, child, brother, mother, sister or father has an Internet connected computer that you can regularly use, you’re set.
Is there an affiliate near by? A periodic visit to your favorite lender or title company is always welcome. If nothing else, most libraries, some bookstores, office supply stores or business print shops (like Kinko’s) have Internet computers available to the public.
For those who travel, most major hotels have Internet computers available (some will even put one in your room) for you to use.
To get your free email address and service, simply click on one of the services above and fill out the questionnaire provided. Be sure to read the requirements and restrictions to make sure the service you choose fits your needs. When you finish, write down you new address and password and keep it where you can get to it whenever you want.
